Hanes Gala “A Tea Party in Wonderland” – Opening Reception for the Student Art Exhibition

Join us for an elegant and whimsical evening celebrating the opening of the Student Art Exhibition at Hanes Gallery. This juried exhibition, selected by studio art faculty, highlights outstanding work by Wake Forest student artists across a range of media.

The Hanes Gala serves as the official opening reception for the exhibition and a celebration of student creativity and achievement. During the evening, we will announce gallery awards and new acquisitions to the student art collection.

This year’s theme, A Tea Party in Wonderland, invites guests into a playful, imaginative world inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Embrace the whimsy with creative, tea party–inspired attire and participate in our Best Themed Outfit Contest, featuring a runway-style walk and audience voting.

The evening will feature a themed photo booth, vinyl music, and a selection of tea, mocktails, and other tea party–inspired refreshments.
