Student Art Exhibition + Honors Exhibitions

The 2013 Student Art Exhibition features artwork by 34 Wake Forest University undergraduate student artists selected by a jury of studio art faculty. The works represent a variety of media including painting, prints, drawings, sculpture, photography, video, and installation art.

During the opening reception, one student will be awarded a $200 Art Department Award and four students will each be awarded a $100 Hanes Gallery Award. Recipients are selected by Wake Forest art faculty and the gallery staff and are judged on creativity and force of content; drive and dedication to the creative process; willingness to go beyond what is expected of them; and in-class leadership qualities and personal integrity.
