Pumping, a three channel video installation

Reception for artist: Tuesday, Sept. 6, 3 - 4:30pm in Hanes Art Gallery:

     On display is the video element of an installation project that also included photographs and sculpture. Pumping reflects the historical relationship of Los Angeles to water and oil; the two major resources that allow it to exist and are increasingly at risk. The Projections consist of 3 original films created by the artist. His orchestration of the multiple visual projections creates a unified audio visual experience for the viewer, much like viewing a single film composed of 3 simultaneous parts.


Tauber will begin teaching video art as a WFU Art Department Assistant Professor in September, 2011.
